Three churches make up
St. Patrick Parish, the largest parish in the Amador Catholic Community. St. Patrick is the mother church in Jackson.
St. Bernard and
Our Lady of the Pines are the mission churches, located in Volcano and Pioneer, respectively. The parish serves over 800 families in the Jackson and “upcountry” areas (Pine Grove, Volcano, Pioneer). In addition to these three churches, Mass is also celebrated during the summer at Silver Lake Chapel at Silver Lake.

Two churches comprise
Immaculate Conception Parish, with the mother church in Sutter Creek. Its mission church,
St. Mary of the Mountains, is in Plymouth. Together, the two churches serve over 400 families in the surrounding areas.

Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish is located in Ione, serving approximately 200 families in the area. In addition, the parish serves two stations located in Ione, the
Mule Creek State Prison Station and the
Preston School of Industry-California Youth Authority Station.
