The charitable ministry can only be carried on through the generous donations of our parishioners who truly never let the needy be forgotten. Your donations provide wide-ranging support to many, and our sincere hope is that this also plants a seed within them which will grow into faith and trust in a living and merciful God who knows and remembers us all. To provide the necessary funds to help achieve this end, there are three options for giving:
-
The Society conducts "Beggars' Sundays" the 4th weekend of every other month after all masses. Your contributions--envelopes, checks or cash--can be dropped into the baskets held by our volunteers who are outside of the church after all masses on these days. The CY 2012 Beggars Sundays will be held January 22, March 25, May 27, July 22, September 23 and November 25.
-
Envelopes or checks marked specifically for The Society of St. Vincent de Paul can be given during mass collections anytime. The less fortunate will forever appreciate your kindness so please participate in our Beggars' Sundays.
-
Electronic Giving is a program for the members of St. Katharine Drexel Parish to have their tax deductible offerings conveniently transferred from their checking or savings account or charged to their credit card. Offerings are credited to whichever collection is designated by parishioner, e.g.. Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Immaculate Conception Offertory, Sacred Heart Offertory or St. Patrick Offertory. The program is professionally managed by EFT Corporation, an offering management company.
